Psychodrama is an experiential therapy that uses creativity, action, and spontaneity to balance the mind, body, and spirit so that deep healing can take place. It is effective because it can internally renegotiate trauma and stress while providing a sense of safety and empowerment.
Psychodrama has been proven to:
-
Reduce the effects of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma or loss
-
Increase connectedness and strengthen interpersonal relationships
-
Improve confidence and self-esteem
-
Build self-awareness and encourage mindfulness
-
Satisfy creative needs
In this group we engage in simple movement, cognitive behavioral principles, skill building, and creative expression to help better understand and manage intrusive symptoms. Together we will explore strengths, create support, increase functionality, and transform lives.
