Psychodrama and Action Methods are types of experiential therapy that integrate guided role-playing techniques, CBT principals, dramatic enactment, creative expression, skill building, and spontaneous improvisation. They are effective because they renegotiate trauma and stress while providing a sense of safety, control, creativity, fun, and empowerment in the process.

Psychodrama and Action Methods have been proven to:

  • Reduce the effects of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma or loss

  • Increase connectedness and strengthen interpersonal relationships

  • Improve confidence and self-esteem

  • Build self-awareness and encourage mindfulness

  • Satisfy creative needs

In this group we engage in multiple expressive activities to bring common themes, feelings, and thoughts forward to be explored in each session. Practicing safe communication skills, sharing, and working together, we create a supportive environment to build community, create support, learn, and transform lives.
